Style Art

STYLE ART, new to Toronto Fashion Week this season, will be teaming up with local Toronto artists and art galleries to showcase extraordinary pieces that merge the worlds of art and fashion. Hosted at The Hazelton Gallery, LUMAS Gallery, Liss Gallery, Taglialatella Gallery, Galerie de Bellefeuille and Judith & Charles, and showcasing the creative works of renowned artists, STYLE ART will paint the community of Yorkville in colourful and eccentric multidisciplinary pieces that will focus on the beauty and balance of fashion.

Launching September 4, XPOSED will exhibit a photo series titled Icon in the Making,  featuring Canadian-born YouTube sensation, actress, and model Gigi Gorgeous, shot by world renowned fashion photographer Chris Nicholls. With art treatments by Lorca Moore and Finley Moore, this XPOSED production will display a photo series inspired by her journey to becoming her true self. Under the creative direction of George Antonopoulos and Glenna Weddle, styling by Lucia Perna, hair by Kristjan, and makeup by Alexandre Deslauriers, Icon in the Making will be featured in FASHION’s October issue in celebration of gender freedom and expression.

A limited edition XPOSED X GIGI hoodie collab will be released for purchase at the event taking place in Yorkville Village with proceeds being donated to The 519 Org—Canada’s largest LGBTQ2S Community Centre.

On Sept. 5, Style Art presents ‘Art Crawl’, which will allow fashion and art enthusiasts to check out all participating galleries until 8 p.m. while enjoying bubbly and sweets.

He will also host a live painting event in The Lane on Sept. 5th at 5:30 p.m., layering one of his latest artworks with snakeskin and acrylic.
