The Misshapes

The Misshapes

Toronto Fashion Week is proud to announce The Misshapes will perform at TFW’s Opening Night Party.

The Misshapes are a New York-based creative collective composed of DJs Leigh Lezark and Geordon Nicol, known for their eponymous downtown Manhattan weekly dance parties featuring celebrity guest DJs and performers including Madonna, Pharrell Williams, Yoko Ono, Rufus Wainwright, Sienna Miller and Jeremy Scott. Since 2002, the trendsetting duo has been a fixture in the worlds of music, fashion and art. In 2007, after discontinuing their famous parties, they released a namesake coffee table book featuring photographs from their popular club night. The Misshapes have also designed the soundtracks for international runway shows, including Tory Burch, Zac Posen, Henry Holland, Calvin Klein, Diesel Black Gold and Viktor & Rolf, as well as DJ’d with the True Colors tour, which featured Debbie Harry and Cyndi Lauper, and performed at fashion week after-parties and private events. In 2015, they created a score for Academy Award-winning documentary filmmaker Charles Ferguson’s Time to Choose, a film focused on climate control. This summer, they resurrected their weekly dance parties on the rooftop at the newly opened Public Hotel in New York.
