Bustle is a Toronto-based menswear line founded by former Bay Street lawyers and husband/wife team Shawn Hewson and Ruth Promislow in 2002. One of Canada’s leading sportswear labels, the classic-meets- cheeky pieces, ranging from swimwear to formalwear, incorporate luxe fabrics, eclectic prints and superior tailoring. In addition to menswear, Hewson and Promislow also have a childrenswear line called Bustle Sprouts, which launched in 2016. Known for their unique collaboration projects, the designers have partnered with a variety of brands, such as Freed Developments, The City of Las Vegas, Source UK Carpets and Tretorn. They also have extensive experience designing and manufacturing custom uniforms for brands including Audi, Thompson Toronto, The Ritz-Carlton Toronto, Le Germain Hôtel, Saks Fifth Avenue and Aveda.
