Announcing The RE\SET 003 Designer Showroom During Toronto Fashion Week

Toronto Fashion Week  and THE COLLECTIONS™ are pleased to announce the RE\SET™ 003 Designer Showroom, located on the second floor of Yorkville Village (55 Avenue Road). Open to the public daily from 12-9, consumers will have the opportunity to shop collections and meet designers, including: Jewels by Alan Anderson; modern nostalgic jewelry by BIKO, baubles by Cuchara; modern jewelry by Dolorous; accessories by Mode; and Herman-Sellers-Gough Furs.

Also participating in this year’s RE\SET™ 003 Designer showroom are some of the country’s brightest ready-to-wear designers, including Christopher Bates, Hilary MacMillan, Jennifer Torosian, Laura Siegel, Olivia Rubens, Mani Jassal, Pedram Karimi, and S.P. Badu.

Attendees of the RE\SET™ 003 Designer showroom will have the opportunity to shop collections in real-time, following the “See-now-shop-now” business model in addition to pre-order. “See-Now-Shop Now” is a new retail model that allows consumers to purchase pieces directly off the runway, eliminating the usual wait time of four to six months. Luxury labels like Tom Ford, Burberry and Tommy Hilfiger are pioneers of the see-now-shop-now movement, and the catwalk-to-consumer model is starting to pick up steam.

This season, Toronto Fashion Week has partnered with local fashion production company THE COLLECTIONS™, whose RE\SET™ platform offers a variety of formats and presentation styles for fashion events. In the past, RE\SET™ has offered unique takes on fashion such as a presentation held in Virtual Reality.
